Out with Abi, Lewis, Craig, Calum, Euan, Des and Doug from Adventure Edinburgh today on Geal-charn on the west side of Drumochter. It turned out to be a delightful day with the fresh southerly wind dropping as the day went on and great views across to Ben Alder and the Cairngorms. The participants did an excellent job of navigating us older folk around the hill. There’s no sign of any snow on these hills at the moment. The ground is well saturated with the descent down the north-east ridge being pretty boggy in places.
