Scotland’s mountains offer endless scope of interesting ridges and gullies when the snows arrive. The routes below are examples of the some of the adventures that can be undertaken with the Climbnow team. These routes all require only one axe and will provide exhilarating climbs in stunning surroundings.

Scotland is blessed with a huge variety of winter climbing terrain ranging from frozen waterfalls and ice smears to vertical turf and rimed rock buttresses.  Our experienced team who all have extensive local knowledge of a large number of these venues will aim to ensure that the right route is chosen for you to maximise enjoyment and learning.

The Scottish winter has an endless number of adventures to be had with crampons one ice axe or two and skis. The variety is massive, from the frozen turf and ice falls of the Southern Highlands, the snow ice of Ben Nevis to the granite crags and vast plateaus of the Cairngorms. All members of the Climbnow team have been exploring this environment for a minimum of 18 years each giving them an excellent knowledge of where to go in all conditions. Private guiding allows you the opportunity to maximise your time on the hill.
