Sample Program

Day 1: We complete a training day on Sgurr a Mhadaidh (918m). This day will include grade 3 scrambling involving the rope as we traverse the peak and it will also allow the opportunity to leave our bivouac equipment on the mountain in preparation for the next night.

Day 2: Day one of the traverse.

Day 3: Day two of the traverse.

Day 4: This spare day can be used in the event of poor weather. If the ridge has been successfully completed during the last two days, the summit of the Cioch can be completed on this day.

It is essential to have good weather for the traverse of the Cuillin. The ClimbNow team will aim whenever possible to complete the route. Given bad weather, the team will provide four days of quality scrambling, climbing and mountaineering.
