North Wales is within easy access to most major cities in the UK, for example, a Friday evening train from London Euston can get you to Bangor for last orders. The Ogwen and Llanberis valleys give a range of scrambles and multi pitch climbs that are ideal for learning how to be a mountaineer indeed the 1953 Everest Expedition Team trained in Snowdonia.
Venues: The Climbnow team in North Wales are based near Bangor this gives good access to the mountain venues, feel free to get in touch to discuss accommodation options.

Who’s it for: Scrambling begins when you start to use your hands for upward progress, for example, the classic Crib Goch. We can teach you rope techniques such as taking body coils and how to match a particular mountaineering technique to the appropriate terrain on some of the classic grade 3 scrambles in Ogwen, for example, Cneifion Arete and Dolmen Ridge. Maybe you are independent Alpinists preparing to go to the alps we can look at how to climb simultaneously and refresh the technical points of crevasse rescue.
