I drove this morning from Saint Gervais to Saas Grund to meet Mountain Guide Kevin O’Neale and climbers Tim and Matt. The weather was very poor the whole way. The Saas Fee peaks were shrounded in cloud but our objective the Jegihorn Sudgrat was clear of cloud as was the neighbouring Lagginhorn. The Sudgrat gives an excellent ten pitch route on Gneiss.
