Today we headed into Toll an Lochain (one of the An Teallach corries). We had hoped that some of the gully lines would still be safe to climb. However, on gaining the corrie floor it was clear that there had been large amounts of rain overnight. Waterfalls were running down the crags, a large rock had come down Central Gully and a wet slab had released in Chockstone Gully. There is still large amounts of snow in the gully lines but a good freeze is now required.
Also, I would just like to say thank you to ‘Facewest Adventure Equipment Specialists’. I recently required some mountaineering equipment quickly and received excellent customer service from the staff.
