During the day today I was out with Eilidh and a group from the Falkirk Community Trust summer programme mountain biking on the excellent Forestry Commission trails at Carron Valley. The group improved their bike skills throughout the day and seemed to have a lot of fun.
This evening John, Kevin, Robert, Craig and I made a canyoning descent of the the Alva gorge. This is quite a committing gorge with several abseils required and no exit except continuing down once in some sections. It was another warm, dry, sunny day and water levels in the gorge were low.
