Today saw John, Nigel and I from the Falkirk Community Trust team in the Dollar Burn and The Burn of Sorrow around Castle Campbell carrying out a recce and risk assessment of the burns as a gorge walking and canyoning venue.
We then walked around and descended the upper section using canyoning techniques. This section had slides, jumps and abseils including one long abseil descent of the main fall.
Warm and dry again today, but with the cloud only clearing in the afternoon. The combination of bright sunshine above, shade in the gorge and water on the lense played havoc with my camera today, so apologies for the quality of the photos.
