Out in the Pentlands yesterday (02/08/13) Geocaheing with a group from the City of Edinburgh Summer Programme. This activity allows the kids to develop navigation skills and become familiar with the use of GPS and maps, whilst doing something resembling a treasure hunt. Dry during the day with a fresh southerly wind. The hills are fairly dry underfoot with just the odd standing puddle on paths and tracks.
