Sunday 2nd January The Deviant

Pamela, Glenn and i were in Coire an Lochain (Cairngorms) today. We climbed The Deviant. Today, the route was hard for the guidebook grade and sparsely protected. The snow on the route was not very useful. There was no possible belay from the bottom of Y gully to the top of Ewen Buttress (more than the guidebooks 50M).

The buttresses are very white. Other teams were spotted starting up The Vent, Iron Butterfly, Milky Way and Osephagus. I do not know if these routes were finished
