The Lake District

On Saturday afternoon Paul and I headed down to The Lake District. We had a good evening climbing and practising some skills on the Jackdaw Ridge/Donkey’s Ears area of Sheperd’s Crag in Borrowdale before heading around to Glenridding. On Sunday after a night and early morning of heavy rain we climbed the scramble on Eagle Crag in Grisedale before continuing up The East Ridge of Nethermost Pike and on to Helvelynn and descending Striding Edge. This made for a good circuit that made the most of the weather conditions.
