I was out today in the Northern Corries looking at avalanche awareness and snow anchors with members of the Falkirk council mountaineering club.ÃÂ It was very wet but routes such as Hidden Chimney, Crows Nest Crack and Milky Way are still white if we get a refreeze.ÃÂ The gullys are complete.
Yesterday Sharon and Ian Climbed Echo Edge on Meall Bhuide next to Beinn an Dothaidh.ÃÂ This is an excellent and much neglected route with a short walk in and no crowds almost guaranteed.
