Varied Skiing in the French Alps

On Wednesday Rosie, Iain, Katie and I visited Combloux for a days skiing. After the last few days touring and off piste skiing we opted for a day cruising the pistes. The pistes at Combloux were deserted and all in excellent condition.

Yesterday we had a rest day. During the day the snow started to fall and has continued right through the night and all of today. Steve joined us for an amazing day skiing powder at Saint Gervais today. Saint Gervais has some excellent tree skiing so even though the visibility was poor there was still plenty to do. In some areas we were skiing accumulations of new powder appeared to be around 80cm.
